That's right, my coat is finished and my PR Lined Jacket Contest entry is almost finished too, so my next goal is to make Jeans! Jalie 2908 to be precise:
I purchased 4 different types of denim, each with different amounts of stretch ranging from 0% to 3% lycra. The pattern recommends 4% lycra, so I plan on making first pair using the denim with 3% lycra to stay true to the pattern. Using fabric with more stretch will be more forgiving as well.

I plan on making the regular rise jeans rather than the low rise version. Since I am a very curvy pear shape, low rise pants can be too low. Today's project is my muslin...I'm ready to dive in!
People seem to rave over Jalie jeans, so it will be interesting watching you make them. I agree, low can look too low.
